Lisa Biedlingmaier`s sculptures are simultaneously imposing and fragile. Dealing with knots as symbols of bodily balance and frailty, when put in relation to each other, such knots evoke the relationship between body and mind. The artist`s work is informed by Kundalini Yoga practice, which is based on the handling of energy knots or energy blocks in the body. I Am Healer invites the viewer to wander through the installation, offering muliple viewing angles, producing a dynamic vision through the optical and physical layering of ropes.
